2007
Set design & props for Carnaval, written by Mitch Miyagawa, co-presented by Gwaandak Theatre and Nakai Theatre. The innovative play was performed outdoors in the yard of Raven Recycling; the set itself was built by stacking compressed bales of paper, cardboard, wax cartons, and plastic bottles, which had a strange beauty to them. Props, audience seating and many costumes were made from materials scavenged from the town dump.
